Taking his moniker from the French translation of his real last name, Croix Du Nord is the solo project of Madison, Wisconsin singer-songwriter Christopher Norcross.

He combines his wide range of folk influences to create serene acoustic landscapes that, according to music publication Early Rising, takes the listener to "a safe space decorated with magical woodlands, starlit skies, and endless memories."

Making music from a small town in Wisconsin, Croix Du Nord takes much of his inspiration from the world around him. Nature being one of his biggest influences has made his music as free-flowing and peaceful as the forests he used to explore in his own hometown.
